I’m Amanda, founder of Diosa Spray Tans, with 3 years of hands-on industry experience working with all skin tones, undertones, and body types. My approach to spray tanning is rooted in skin science, color theory, and consistency — not trends or guesswork.

I was named Sunless Content Creator of the Year (2024) and am the preferred spray tan artist for the Miss Austin, TX Organization, experiences that reflect both technical excellence and brand trust.

In addition to my industry work, I am currently earning my MBA in Marketing, which allows me to teach not only flawless application, but also how to brand, price, and position your business strategically for real growth.

Training Day Schedule

10:30 AM – 12:45 PM: Lecture and training manual overview

12:45 PM – 1:30 PM: Break + socialize

1:30 PM - 2:00 PM: Live Demo Amanda walks through the entire spray tanning process, explaining why certain steps are important for a flawless result (e.g., prepping the skin, choosing the right solution, and applying the tan evenly).

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Students practice applying spray tans on live models (under direct instructor supervision).

After practice sessions, trainees receive feedback from the instructor to fine-tune their skills.

4::00 – 4:30 PM: Wrap-up and final Q&A

Before your in-person session, you’ll enroll in our online training course, designed to prepare you fully for hands-on learning. This must be completed prior to your in-person training.

You’ll learn:

This ensures you arrive confident, informed, and ready to apply — not overwhelmed.

Once in person, we begin with the lecture portion of training, walking through the full training manual together.

This is where we:

  • Reinforce key concepts from the online course

  • Deepen your understanding of skin science and color theory

  • Answer questions and clarify real-world scenarios

  • Connect theory to technique

This step bridges knowledge with execution.

  • No prior experience is necessary. This training is designed for beginners and beauty professionals alike. We’ll walk you through every step, from spray technique to client care so you feel confident and prepared.

    In most U.S. states, a professional license (like esthetics or cosmetology) is not required to offer spray tanning. However, the state of Oregon currently requires a license.

  • The In-Person course come with a curated starter kit to support your training, including:

    Please note: Larger equipment such as spray tan machines, tents, and extraction fans are not included in course enrollment, as every artist's business setup and vision is unique. You will be provided a PDF at the end of training with discount codes to purchase your own items.

    • Online: A self-paced course you can complete on your own time, with ongoing support.

    • In-Person: One-day intensive 6-hour training session.

    • Online: Self-paced — most students finish in 1–2 weeks

  • Nope — we’ve got you covered.
    We’ll provide everything you need for training day, including up to three models for hands-on practice. If you're local and would prefer to bring your own models, you're welcome to do so, just let us know in advance.

    We’ll also have snacks and water available, so you can stay focused and comfortable.

    We recommend wearing dark, comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes, as spray tan solution may transfer during practice.
